The single motor ID.4 gets 201 horsepower with its powerful lithium-ion battery pack, and it can travel over 200 miles on a single charge, and even further with the 2022 Pro model ?2! For the average driver, this means you can go several days without recharging your vehicle.

The 2022 ID.4 is available in two trim levels, the Pro, which has an MSRP of $40,760, and the Pro S, which has an MSRP of $45,260.

2022 VolkswagenTaos: A New VW SUV

The 2022 Volkswagen Taos is a compact SUV that combines all the advantages of a sedan with those of an SUV. It's easy to maneuver and park but offers more cargo space and more comfortable seating than a traditional sedan.

The brand-new Volkswagen SUV includes three trim options: the S at $22,995, the SE at $27,245, and the SEL at $31,490. All three trim levels are powered by the 1.5L Turbo engine that produces 158 horsepower. The engine pairs with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission or an all-wheel drive layout with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. 

A smaller SUV scores highly with fuel economy, standing at 28/36 MPG city/highway for FWD and 25/32 MPG city/highway for AWD models.

2022 Volkswagen Tiguan: A Compact but Spacious SUV

The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan is larger than the Taos while still maintaining its status as a compact SUV. The Tiguan offers a third row of seating in some trim levels to expand passenger seating, which is rare in this vehicle class. This means, however, that the Tiguan offers exceptional versatility for Dayton drivers.

All trims are available with either a front-wheel or all-wheel drive layout, except the top-level SEL R-Line, which only pairs with all-wheel-drive transmission. All the trim levels get power from a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that creates 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque that pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Fuel efficiency for the Tiguan sits at 23/30 MPG city/highway for the FWD, while the AWD models deliver 22/29 MPG city /highway, with the R-Line dropping even further at 21/28 mpg.

2022 Volkswagen Atlas: The Family-Oriented SUV

The 2022 Volkswagen Atlas, a comfortable three-row SUV, is a longtime staple of the VW lineup. The VW Atlas models offer impressive features, from heated side mirrors roof rails, and 18" alloy wheels. These come in addition to many standard safety features, such as a blind spot monitor, pedestrian monitoring system, and rear traffic alert system.

  • Optional 4 Motion all-wheel-drive

The new VW Atlas is available with two- and three-row models to carry as many passengers as you can. In terms of available trim levels, the Atlas comes in SE at $33,900, the SE with Technology at $38,070, the SEL at $43,670, the SEL R-Line at $46,820, and the SEL Premium R-Line at $51,070. You can choose from two different engines, including a 235-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a 276-horsepower 3.6-liter V6, with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. The 4-Motion all-wheel-drive layout is optional for an extra $1,900.

2022 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport: Bold and Appealing

The Atlas Cross Sport is a newer edition, combining the powerful aesthetic of the Atlas with the versatility of a crossover. It features heated side mirrors, roof rails, and 18" alloy wheels, much like the Atlas. Also, like the Atlas, the Atlas Cross Sport offers standard safety features like blind spot monitoring, pedestrian monitoring, and rear traffic alert.

The 202 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport doesn’t offer third-row seating but instead provides 77.8 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded flat and more than three feet of rear legroom. You can find 40.3 cubic feet of space with the rear seats up.

The engine options and the trim levels are the same as those for the three-row Atlas. You can also expect many of the same infotainment and tech features as the regular Atlas and standard safety features like Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and more.
